What's My Body Shape?
Shopping based on your body shape is proven to be successful in finding a wardrobe you look and feel great in! If you're not sure what your body shape is, thats okay! Grab a measuring tape and a friend to help you! It's difficult to measure some parts of yourself and get it right! The more accurate you are now, the better you look later! You can also contact us to book a free appointment with one of our stylists in-store to be measured professionally!
Follow the diagram below to get your measurements for each section. Be sure to measure all the way around your body and not just the front. When you are finished, calculate your measurements by referring to the notes below the diagram to discover what your body shape is! Then..... Let the shopping begin!
Apple - Your shoulder and bust measurements are more than 5% bigger than your hip measurement. (shoulders or bust divided by hips is greater than 1.05).
Hourglass - Your waist is at least 25% less than your shoulder or bust measurement. (waist divided by shoulders or bust is less than 0.75). Your waist is at least 25% smaller than your hips. (waist divided by hips is less than 0.75). Your shoulder and hip measurements are within 5% of each other.
Pear - Your hips are more than 5% bigger than your shoulders or bust. (hips divided by shoulders or bust are greater than 1.05)
Rectangle - Your waist is less than 25% smaller than your shoulder and bust. (waist divided by shoulders or bust is greater than .75 and your shoulder, waist, and hip measurements are within 5% of each other.
